Transliteration:( Qaalooo innaaa ursilnaaa ilaa qawmim mujrimeen )
32. They said: "We have certainly been sent to a sinful [33] people."
The angels reveal that they have been sent to a sinful people, referring to the people of Prophet Lut (Peace be upon him).
This indicates that their wickedness and immoral behavior had reached a point where divine intervention was necessary.
The people of Hazrat Lut (Peace be upon him) were indulging in acts of sodomy, a grave sin in the sight of Allah.
The angels' mission was to bring about the destruction of these sinful people as a result of their corruption.

(51:32) They replied: “Behold, we have been sent to a wicked people[31]
31. That is, to the people of the Prophet Lot (peace be upon him). The epithet of a criminal people was enough to tell which people were meant in view of the gravity of their crimes. They have already been mentioned in the Quran in (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayat 80-84); (Surah Hud, Ayat 74-83); (Surah Al-Hijr, Ayat 58-79); (Surah Al-Anbiya, Ayat 74-75); (Surah Ash-Shuara, Ayat 160-175); (Surah An-Naml, Ayat 54-58); (Surah As-Saaffat, Ayat 133-137).
