📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Ahqaf – Verse 25

Which will destroy [71] everything by the Command of its Lord. So, in the morning there remained nothing to be seen except their deserted dwellings. Thus, We punish the culprits [72].

✅ [71] Total Destruction by Divine Command

Hazrat Hud (peace be upon him) gave a detailed description of the coming punishment, so that the people might still choose to believe before it arrived.
However, faith after witnessing punishment holds no value, and they continued to mock the warning. Hence, by the command of Allah, the wind destroyed everything—their homes, lives, and wealth—leaving behind only ruins.

✅ [72] Divine Justice Against the Guilty

A violent sandstorm swept through their region and annihilated every disbeliever. Their possessions were scattered like cotton, carried away by the raging wind.
Hazrat Hud (peace be upon him) marked a boundary around the believers, and the same deadly wind turned calm upon entering that area—
a manifest miracle that affirmed his Prophethood. After this event, Hazrat Hud lived for another 150 years, continuing his mission among the believers.
