Transliteration:( Qul lany yanfa'akumul firaaru in farartum minal mawti awil qatli wa izal laa tumatta'oona illaa qaleelaa )
"Please declare: 'Your flight will never profit you if you flee from death or slaying, and even then you shall not be allowed to enjoy (in the world) but a little' [36]."
This verse refutes the mindset of the hypocrites and cowards who fled or intended to flee from Jihad, fearing death or martyrdom. It declares that running away will not benefit them in any meaningful way. If death is destined today, it will occur, and if not, then it is only delayed for a little while.
By fleeing, they are only incurring the sin of abandoning Jihad, and even the worldly life they are trying to save will not be of much duration or value. Therefore, the verse exposes the foolishness of sacrificing eternal salvation and the honor of martyrdom, merely for a brief and uncertain worldly existence.

Please refer to Surah Ahzab ayat 14 which provides the complete commentary from verse 14 through 17.
(33:16) (O Prophet), tell them: “If you run away from death or slaying, this flight will not avail you. You will have little time after that to enjoy[28] (the pleasures of life).”
28. That is, this flight of yours will not add anything to your life. In no case will you live forever and gain the whole wealth of the world. Hardly a few years will you live after your flight and enjoy life only as long as it is destined for you.
