📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Ahzab – Verse 24

"That Allah may reward the [59] truthful for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He so wills, or may turn towards them with mercy. Indeed Allah is Forgiving, Merciful [60]."

✅ [59] Reward for the Truthful

The reward Allah grants to the truthful believers is evident even in this world. Their memory and legacy continue to be honored by their followers year after year. Despite attempts to erase their remembrance, it endures as a testament to their sincerity and steadfastness.

✅ [60] Mercy or Punishment for the Hypocrites

This verse hints that some hypocrites may repent and be guided by Allah’s mercy, while others persist in their hypocrisy and thus deserve disgrace in this world and punishment in the Hereafter. Allah’s attributes as Forgiving and Merciful mean He is always open to forgiveness for those who sincerely turn back to Him.
