Transliteration:( In tubdoo shai'an aw tukhfoohu fa innal laaha kaana bikulli shai'in 'Aleemaa )
"Whether you disclose anything or conceal it, surely Allah knows all the things." [33:54]
This verse reinforces the absolute and perfect awareness of Allah. Whether a person voices a thought or keeps it locked within their heart, Allah is fully informed. This is a warning specifically in the context of what was previously mentioned—the prohibition of marrying the noble wives of the Holy Prophet ﷺ after his passing.
According to scholars, even if someone were to merely entertain the thought of marrying the blessed wives of the Prophet ﷺ after his departure from the world, such a person would face severe punishment. This is due to the lofty status of these noble women as the Mothers of the Believers, and any such idea would be considered an act of deep disrespect and disobedience to divine command.
This verse emphasizes that Allah’s surveillance is not limited to outward actions—it includes thoughts, intentions, and desires, making it a powerful reminder of His complete dominion over our inner selves.
