Transliteration:( Rabbanaaa aatihim di'fai ni minal 'azaabi wal'anhum la nan kabeera (section 8) )
"'O our Lord, give them double punishment of the Fire and curse them with a great curse [191]'. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)"
On the Day of Judgement, the followers will plead for a harsher punishment upon their leaders, asking Allah to double their torment and curse them severely.
Their reasoning is: “We went astray only by following them, but they not only chose misguidance themselves—they also led others astray.”
This verse highlights the severity of responsibility upon those who misguide others, especially when they hold influence or leadership. The punishment for such people will be far greater, because their sin includes both personal disbelief and causing corruption in others.
