Transliteration:( Yuslih lakum a'maalakum wa yaghfir lakum zunoobakum; wa mai yuti'il laaha wa Rasoolahoo faqad faaza fawzan 'azeemaa )
"He will set right [196] your deeds for you, and will forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has achieved great success [197]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)"
This verse promises that if you fear Allah and speak rightly, then Allah will:
Correct your actions
Forgive your sins
When a believer remains steadfast in obligatory duties, Allah grants further guidance—first toward fulfilling the Sunnah acts, and then to performing optional (nafl) deeds.
By following this path of incremental devotion, a person is also protected from sin. However, the levels of guidance and reward differ based on one’s sincerity and consistency.
This part of the verse clarifies the definition of real success:
Obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ is what leads to eternal success—not wealth, status, or power.
The verse affirms that a truly successful life is one spent in the service and submission to Allah and His Beloved Prophet ﷺ. Such a life leads to both worldly goodness and everlasting reward in the Hereafter.
