إِنَّ مَا تُوعَدُونَ لَأٓتٖۖ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ

Transliteration:( Inna maa too'adoona la aatinw wa maaa antum bimu'jizeen )

134. Indeed, what you are promised [295] is bound to happen, and you cannot escape it. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(134) Indeed, what you are promised is coming, and you will not cause failure [to Allāh].[346] (Saheen International Translation)

295. Death, Qiyamah, or that punishment which is prophesied by the Holy Prophet, will most certainly take place but at their prescribed time. Do not be misled in their delay, instead acquire means to protect yourselves from them, because Allah Almighty is neither helpless nor does He give false information, nor is a man powerful to enter into confrontation with Allah Almighty to save himself from Him. Therefore avoid confrontation and fear Allah.

Ala-Maududi

(6:134) Surely what you have been promised shall come to pass;[102] and you do not have the power to frustrate (Allah).


102. This refers to the Resurrection, when human beings of every epoch will be raised anew and made to stand before God for final judgement.

(134) Indeed, what you are promised is coming, and you will not cause failure [to Allāh].[346]

[346]- i.e., You will neither escape nor prevent its occurrence.
