Transliteration:( Wa haazaa Kitaabun anzalnaahu Mubaarakun fattabi'oohu wattaqoo la'al lakum turhamoon )
"And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed [366]. So follow it and be conscious of Allah, that perhaps you may receive mercy [367]."
The Holy Qur’an is termed blessed because it was revealed:
In the blessed month of Ramadaan,
Through the pure angel Jibreel (Gabriel),
To the most noble Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Its verses bring blessings wherever they are recited, applied, or acted upon—whether on the land, in the home, or within the heart.
To attain Allah’s mercy, one must:
Follow the Qur’an (external reform),
Practice taqwa (God-consciousness) (internal reform).
Obedience includes adherence to:
The Qur’an,
The Sunnah (Ahadith),
The guidance of righteous scholars (Ulama) and consensus-based rulings.
The Shari’ah stands on four foundational sources:
Qur’an
Hadith
Ijma’ (consensus of the Ummah)
Qiyas (analogy by jurists)
Thus, obeying scholars and the Prophet is an extension of obeying Allah (S4:V59).
