Transliteration:( Wa anzir bihil lazeena yakhaafoona ai yuhsharooo ilaa Rabbihim laisa lahum min doonihee waliyyunw wa laa shafee'ul la'allahum yattaqoon )

51. And with this Quran, warn those who fear that they shall be raised towards their Lord, for them there is no supporter [100] nor any intercessor besides Allah, that perhaps they may become God-fearing. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(51) And warn by it [i.e., the Qur’ān] those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord - for them besides Him will be no protector and no intercessor - that they might become righteous. (Saheen International Translation)

Surah Al-Anam Ayat 51 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Ala-Madudi

100. From this it is understood that Allah Almighty will provide helpers and intercessors for the believers, while the lack of these for the infidels is Allah Almighty's punishment for  them. Thus if anyone says I have no helpers is inadvertently admitting his infidelity, as this is the condition of the disbelievers.

Ibn-Kathir

The tafsir of Surah Al-Anam verse 51 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Anam ayat 50 which provides the complete commentary from verse 50 through 54.

(6:51) And warn with this (revealed message) those who fear that they shall be mustered to their Lord, that there will be none apart from Allah to act as their protector and intercessor; then maybe they will become God-fearing.[33]

Ala-Maududi

(6:51) And warn with this (revealed message) those who fear that they shall be mustered to their Lord, that there will be none apart from Allah to act as their protector and intercessor; then maybe they will become God-fearing.[33]

33. Those who are too deeply immersed in the allurements of earthly life to think either of death or of their being brought to stand before God for His judgement can hardly benefit from such admonitions. Likewise, such admonitions can have no wholesome effect on those who cherish the illusion that because of their attachment to some holy personage who will intercede on their behalf, they will come to no harm in the Hereafter. The same applies to those who believe that someone has already obtained their redemption by expiating their sins. The Prophet (peace be on him) is therefore asked to disregard such persons and to attend to those who are conscious, those with no false illusions. Only these people are susceptible to admonitions and can be expected to reform themselves.

(51) And warn by it [i.e., the Qur’ān] those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord - for them besides Him will be no protector and no intercessor - that they might become righteous.
