📖 Commentary on Surah Al-A‘raaf – Verse 106

He said: "If you have come with any sign, then produce it, if you are truthful." (106)

✅ The Demand for a Visible Miracle

This verse captures Pharaoh’s challenge to Musa (peace be upon him). In his arrogance, he demands a physical sign as proof of Musa’s prophethood. Despite witnessing Musa’s confidence and hearing his truth, Pharaoh insists: “Show me a miracle, if you're really truthful.” This reflects a common trait of disbelievers—they demand signs not out of sincerity, but out of stubbornness and pride. Pharaoh was not seeking truth; he was testing Musa with mockery and denial.
