Transliteration:( Qaala na'am wa innakum laminal muqarrabeen )
Firaun said: "Yes, and indeed, you shall be among those who are near" (248).
Pharaoh promised the magicians not only a reward, but also a place of closeness and honor in his court. However, Allah made this false promise of status a doorway to truth. After witnessing Musa’s miracles, the magicians realized this was not sorcery, especially when they learned that his staff turned into a snake even while he slept—something impossible in magic. This led them to embrace faith sincerely. According to Tafseer Roohul Bayaan, these magicians were seventy thousand in number, led by four chiefs: Shaboor, Aadoor, Hittatah, and Sham'oon. They became among the most devout servants of Allah.
