    فَرِيقًا هَدَىٰ وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُۚ إِنَّهُمُ ٱتَّخَذُواْ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ

    Transliteration:( Fareeqan hadaa wa fareeqan haqqa 'alaihimud dalaalah; innahumut takhazush Shayaateena awliyaaa'a min doonil laahi wa yahsaboona annahum muhtadoon )

    30.A group He has guided and a group has deserved to be in error [61]. They have taken the devils as allies besides Allah, and they think they are rightly guided [62]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (30) A group [of you] He guided, and a group deserved [to be in] error. Indeed, they [i.e., the latter] had taken the devils as allies instead of Allāh while they thought that they were guided. (Saheen International Translation)

    61. This means everyone will not become believers, some will remain infidels. Those whose infidelity is in Divine intent, how will they become believers?

    62. This verse is the distribution of "guardians besides Allah". In most instances where a guardian besides Allah Almighty is used, Satan is signified. There is a big difference- between friends of Allah and friends besides those connected to Allah Almighty.Friends of Allah Almighty are true, while friends besides those connected with Allah Almighty are false. To believe that friends of Allah Almighty are His sons is believing in friends other than Allah Almighty.
