Transliteration:( Innal insaana lafee khusr )
This section explains that a person is wasting their actual life's capital by engaging in infidelity, sin, negligence, and the pursuit of worldly pleasures such as sports and amusement. Such a person fails to use their life to prepare for a brighter Hereafter.
The analogy is drawn that man is like a merchant, and life is his shop, with deeds being the goods of trade. If one's deeds are good, the purchaser is Allah Almighty, and the price of these deeds is Paradise. As Allah Almighty says: "No doubt Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their belongings" (S9: V111).
On the other hand, if a person’s deeds are evil, their purchaser is the devil, and the price they pay is Hell. The analogy further illustrates that just as the buyer at an alcohol shop is a drunkard, similarly, the outcome of one's deeds determines the ultimate purchaser and the corresponding reward or punishment.
