Transliteration:( Wa minan naasi mai yashree nafsahub tighaaa'a mardaatil laah; wallaahu ra'oofum bil'ibaad )
207. And among the people is he who sells his life in seeking the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is Compassionate to His bondsmen. [481]
This verse was revealed in honour of Suhaib bin Sinaan (RA), who during his migration from Makkah was captured by the polytheists. To secure his freedom and reach Madina, he gave up all his possessions by revealing their location.
🔹 This verse affirms that his sacrifice was for the pleasure of Allah, and Allah accepted it.
🔹 The lesson: The status of a Sahabi is unmatched, as the Qur’an itself confirms the acceptance of their deeds — a rank no one else can attain.
