Transliteration:( Feeha kutubun qaiyimah )
The Holy Quran is the ultimate, unaltered, and timeless revelation from Allah Almighty, encompassing all truths—past, present, and future—within its verses. Its perfection lies in its divine authorship, comprehensive scope, and immunity to change. Below are the key aspects that affirm its completeness and immutability:
1. Comprehensive Knowledge of the Unseen (غيب)
The Quran contains:
Historical Narratives: Accounts of past nations (e.g., Pharaoh, Aad, Thamud) with precise details unknown to contemporaries of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Future Prophecies: Predictions fulfilled in the Prophet’s lifetime (e.g., the Roman victory over Persia, Surah Ar-Rum 30:2-4) and beyond (e.g., the spread of Islam globally).
Cosmic Mysteries: Descriptions of creation, the soul, and the afterlife that align with both spiritual truths and modern scientific discoveries (e.g., embryology, cosmic expansion).
Allah declares:
“This Quran could not have been produced by anyone other than Allah. Rather, it is a confirmation of what came before it and a detailed explanation of the Book, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of all worlds.”
—Surah Yunus 10:37
2. Eternal Commandments (أحكام) for Humanity
The Quran provides:
Universal Laws: Moral, legal, and spiritual guidelines applicable to all eras and societies (e.g., justice, charity, prohibitions on usury and oppression).
Adaptable Principles: Flexible frameworks (e.g., Maqasid al-Shariah) that address evolving human contexts while preserving divine intent.
Finality of Legislation: As the last revelation, it abrogates and supersedes all prior scriptures (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:48), rendering their rulings obsolete unless reaffirmed by the Quran.
3. Divine Preservation from Alteration
Allah guarantees:
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
“Indeed, it is We Who sent down the Quran, and indeed, We will be its Guardian.”
—Surah Al-Hijr 15:9
Unlike earlier scriptures (e.g., Torah, Gospel), which suffered human interpolation, the Quran remains verbatim in its original Arabic, memorized by millions (Huffaaz), and transmitted through unbroken chains (Isnad) since revelation. Its linguistic precision and literary inimitability (I’jaz) defy human replication.
4. A Complete Guide for All Realms of Existence
The Quran addresses:
Individual Spirituality: Purification of the soul (Tazkiyah), prayer, and connection to Allah.
Collective Society: Governance, family laws, and social equity.
Metaphysical Realities: Descriptions of Paradise, Hell, the Day of Judgment, and the Unseen World.
The Quran is not merely a book but a living proof of Allah’s sovereignty and the finality of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) mission. Its perfection transcends time, space, and human intellect, offering unchanging guidance until the Hour is established. To reject or distort it is to deny the very fabric of divine truth, while embracing it unlocks ultimate success in this life and the hereafter:
قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللَّـهِ هُوَ الْهُدَىٰ
“Say, ‘Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the only guidance.’”
—Surah Al-Baqarah 2:120
This eternal covenant between Allah and humanity ensures that the Quran will forever remain the ultimate criterion (الفُرقان) between truth and falsehood.
