وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ

Transliteration:( Wujoohuny yawma 'izin khaashi'ah )

2. Faces [3] (of sinners) shall be downcast on that day. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(2) [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, (Saheen International Translation)

🔹 The State of Sinners on That Day

On the Day of Judgment, the faces of the sinners will be downcast, filled with humiliation and regret.
✅ Those who showed arrogance towards the pious servants of (اللَّهُ) Allah in this world will face utter disgrace.

1️⃣ Their Condition in the Hereafter

📖 The arrogant will be:
🔹 Resurrected from their graves and forced to crawl on their bellies towards the Plain of Accountability.
🔹 Their faces will be blackened, their hands bound, and iron chains will be placed around their necks.
🔹 They will beg for mercy at every door but will be rejected.
🔹 In their misery, they will curse one another, blaming each other for their fate.

2. Some faces: some persons, for the face is the most conspicuous part of the human body by which man’s personality is judged and which reflects the good or bad states through which man passes.
