Transliteration:( Allahu yastafee minal malaaa'ikati Rusulanw wa minan naas; innal laaha Samee'un Baseer )
153. For the purpose of revelation, some angels brought revelation to the Prophets and these Prophets have received the revelation in order to assist the religion of Allah Almighty and thereby gain lofty status.
This tells us that Jinns do not become prophets. This selection is an eternal habit of Allah Almighty. This does not mean that in the future we would be selecting them to show the possibility of the continuation of prophethood.
Those whom He wanted to choose He had chosen, and those who He had chosen have become Prophets for eternity. because the status and greatness of a Prophet is never abrogated.
However, neither the greatness is of our Holy Prophet ? abrogated nor his Shariat.
Just as there is no possibility now of selecting an angel for this work, in a like manner there is no possibility of selecting any man for prophethood now.

75. Allah chooses Messengers from angels and from men. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer. 76. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them. And to Allah return all matters.
Allah tells us that He chooses Messengers from His angels as He wills by His law and decree, and He chooses Messengers from mankind to convey His Message.
(Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.) means, He hears all that His servants say, and He sees them and knows who among them is deserving of that, as He says:
(Allah knows best with whom to place His Message) ﴿6:124﴾
(He knows what is before them, and what is behind them. And to Allah return all matters.) He knows what will happen to His Messengers and the Message He sent them with, for none of their affairs are hidden from Him. He says:
(“The All-Knower of the Ghayb (Unseen), and He reveals to none His Ghayb.”)﴿72:26﴾ until His saying;
(and He keeps count of all things.) ﴿72:28﴾ So He, may He be glorified, is guarding them, and is Witness to what is said about them. He is protecting them and supporting them.
(O Messenger! Proclaim which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allah will protect you from mankind) ﴿5:67﴾.
(22:75) Allah chooses Messengers from among angels and from among human beings (to convey His command)[124]. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.
124. In continuation of the refutation of shirk, Allah has taken two kinds of the most revered of deities to show their real status, as if to say: The angels and the Prophets whom you have set up as deities are mere Messengers of Allah. Allah has chosen them to convey His messages to human beings and this does not make them God or partners in His Godhead.
