Transliteration:( Summa laqata'naa minhul wateen )
"We would certainly have taken revenge from him with force [52]."
This verse highlights that if the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had ever fabricated a single word and falsely attributed it to Allah, divine retribution would have been swift and severe. Allah declares that He would have destroyed the Prophet for even the smallest deviation from the truth. The retribution would have been so forceful that the Prophet would not have been able to achieve his mission.
This statement reinforces the infallibility of the Prophet and the protection Allah granted him, ensuring that the Qur'an is preserved exactly as revealed, without any alteration or fabrication.
