Quran-69:7 Surah Al-haqqah English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومٗاۖ فَتَرَى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ فِيهَا صَرۡعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٖ

Transliteration:( Sakkhara haa 'alaihim sab'a la yaalinw wa samaaniyata ayyaamin husooman fataral qawma feehaa sar'aa ka annahum a'jaazu nakhlin khaawiyah )

7. Which He imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days continuously [5], so that you might have seen the people therein fallen [6] as if they were trunks of hollow date palm trees [7]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(7) Which He [i.e., Allāh] imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees. (Saheen International Translation)

5. From twenty-two Shawwaal, from Wednesday to the next Wednesday.

6. Death flew there in such a way, like the weak are thrown down by the strong.

7. This means the people of Aad were tall and strongly built. When they were destroyed they became like the broken stems of dates. After their destruction, a strong wind flung their corpses into the river.
