Transliteration:( Laa yastaweee as-haabun naari wa ashaabul jannah; as haabul jannati humul faaa'izoon )
“The inmates of the fire and the dwellers of Paradise are not equal [58]. The dwellers of Paradise are those who have attained their goal [59].”
Even though they may physically appear similar, their real ranks and destinies are completely different. If even the inhabitants of Paradise and Hell are not the same, and if within Paradise itself there are levels of superiority, then:
How can anyone claim equality with the Holy Prophet ﷺ?
This verse is also a refutation of those who falsely claim that they are equal to the Prophet ﷺ in rank or status. It highlights that spiritual rank is earned through righteousness, not outer form.
This person becomes entitled to receive Allah’s Bounties and is counted among those who have attained success. On the other hand, the disbelievers are in loss, both in this world and the Hereafter.
Their worldly pleasures do not benefit them, as they have no share in the Divine reward. True success lies in seeking Allah’s pleasure and earning eternal reward.
