    53. They said, 'Do not fear, we give you glad tidings of a son who will possess knowledge' [62]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (53) [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." (Saheen International Translation)

    62. From this we learn that Allah Almighty Himself has bestowed the FIVE BRANCHES OF KNOWLEDGE to the angels. They would be informed by Allah Almighty that Hazrat Ibrahim (On whom he peace) would be blessed with a son who would be a Prophet as well as possessing knowledge. They had also known that knowledge is incumbent for prophethood. Furthermore, that a learned son is a great gift from Allah Almighty.

    32. “A boy possessing knowledge”, Prophet Isaac (peace be upon him). His name has been mentioned in connection with this good news in Surah Houd, Ayat 71.
