Quran-15:54 Surah Al-hijr English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ

Transliteration:( Qaala abashshartumoonee 'alaaa am massaniyal kibaru fabima tubashshiroon )

54. He said, 'What! Do you give me glad tidings although old age has come upon me? So on what basis do you give glad tidings?' [63]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(54) He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" (Saheen International Translation)

63. This means would we, husband and wife, be made young again? Or would we remain old as we are and be given a son? Hence they were not rejecting the power of a learned son is a great gift from Allah Almighty.
