قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

Transliteration:( Qaala wa mai yaqnatu mir rahmati Rabbiheee illad daaaloon )

56. He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?' [65]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(56) He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" (Saheen International Translation)

65. This tells us that this question was not due to rejection, but to enquire about the particular nature of the birth. Nevertheless, Hazrat Ibrahim (On whom be peace) was not disheartened. To be despondent with Allah is against the status of a Prophet.
