Transliteration:( Innal abraara yashra boona min kaasin kaana mizaa juhaa kaafooraa )
"Indeed, the righteous will drink[8] from a cup, whose mixture is of camphor."
✅ [8] The Reward for the Righteous
This verse describes the reward of the righteous in Paradise.
They will drink from a special cup containing camphor — a fragrant drink symbolizing purity and delight.
The verse specifically refers to the family of the Prophet ﷺ, particularly Hazrat Ali, Imam Hasan, Imam Husayn, Sayyeda Fatimah, and their maid Fiddah.
✅ The Act of Sacrifice by the Prophet’s Family
During a time of hardship, they fasted for three days while ill.
Despite their need, they gave away their food to beggars, the destitute, and prisoners at Iftar, sacrificing their own food in the way of Allah.
This act of generosity is why Hazrat Ali is known as the Prince of Generosity.
✅ Context of Revelation
This act of selflessness occurred during a time of severe poverty in the household of the Prophet ﷺ.
Surah Ad-Dahr (which includes these verses) was revealed in Madinah, as the incidents occurred there.

6. The word abrar as used in the original implies the peoplewho have done full justice to their Lord’s obedience, havecarried out the duties enjoined by Him and abstained fromthe things forbidden by Him.
