Transliteration:( Fa'asaa Rabeee any yu'tiyani khairam min jannatika wa yursila 'alaihaa husbaanam minas samaaa'i fatusbiha sa'eedan zalaqaa )
"Then perhaps my Lord will give me something better than your garden and send down a thunderbolt from the sky upon it, so that it becomes a bare, slippery land." [94–96]
This means that Allah Almighty may grant me something far better — either in this world or in the Hereafter. However, the worldly interpretation holds more weight, since the arrogant man had looked down upon the believer’s lack of worldly wealth. The context of the verse continues with reference to worldly punishment.
The believer expresses that a thunderbolt may descend from the heavens during the arrogant man's own lifetime, so that he witnesses the destruction of his garden with his own eyes — and thus feels regret and helplessness.
This teaches us that a true believer sees through Divine light, and his intuition is accurate and inspired by Allah. Whatever the believer warned of, came true exactly as he had said — a miraculous confirmation of his faith and insight.
If this is the level of accuracy in the perception of an ordinary believer, then how much greater would be the knowledge, foresight, and insight of the Saints and Prophets of Allah?
Surely, their rank is beyond all imagination and estimation.
