Transliteration:( Wa sa yujannnabuhal atqaa )
This verse emphasizes the high status and piety of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA). He is described as being so pious that he will be kept far away from the punishment of Hell. This is not just a metaphorical distance, but signifies his absolute purity and virtuous character, both in this life and the Hereafter. Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) is presented as an example of ultimate piety and righteousness, and his salvation from Hell signifies his esteemed position in the sight of Allah.
1. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique’s Distance from Hell:
One of the main qualities of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique is that he has been kept far away from Hell. This could mean that he has never committed a sin in his life, or that he will not commit any sins, given his unwavering commitment to righteousness and his pure faith. In addition, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) is assured that neither the heat nor even the faintest sound of Hell will reach him. As Allah Almighty says in the Quran: "They will not hear the faintest sound of it" (S21:V102). This signifies his complete protection from the suffering of Hell.
2. His Spiritual Protection Across All Stages of the Afterlife:
It can also mean that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique will be safeguarded from Hell in all stages of the Hereafter, including the grave and the Day of Reckoning. Not only will he be kept away from the torment of Hell, but his position of piety and virtue ensures that he will experience tranquility and peace on the Day of Judgement, without facing the hardships others may endure.
3. Hazrat Abu Bakr’s Children and His Followers Will Also Be Saved:
Another interpretation is that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique’s children, as well as all those who believe in him and follow his path of piety, will be protected from Hell until the Day of Judgement. His legacy of righteousness will ensure the safety and salvation of those who adhere to the values he embodies.
1. The Most Pious in the Entire Ummah:
The term "most pious" used in this verse indicates that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique is the highest and most virtuous person in the entire Ummah, second only to the Prophets. His piety surpasses all others, and he occupies the most esteemed position in Islam. This is reinforced in the Quran, where he is referred to as the "Possessor of highest excellence" (S24:V22).
2. Hazrat Abu Bakr’s Superiority Over the Pious:
Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) is declared to be the noblest person after the Prophets. His exceptional piety makes him the most superior among the righteous, a title that is categorically confirmed in the Quran. His excellence is so indisputable that denying his status as the most virtuous is considered heretical. This divine recognition is reinforced by the fact that the Holy Prophet ﷺ appointed him to lead the prayer during his illness, further validating his high rank in Islam.
3. Rejection of False Narratives About Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA):
Any claims made by individuals or historians that attempt to criticize or diminish the status of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) are false and baseless. Such allegations directly contradict the Quran and are therefore considered to be unfounded. Hazrat Abu Bakr’s (RA) integrity and status are firmly established in the teachings of Islam, and anyone who denies or undermines his position is in error.
