Transliteration:( Wa mai yatawallal laaha wa Rasoolahoo wallazeena aamanoo fa inna hizbal laahi humul ghaaliboon )
“And whoever takes Allah, His Messenger, and the believers as friends, then surely the party of Allah will be victorious [176].”
Friendship with the Pious is Essential for Believers
To make friends with the sincere servants of Allah—that is, the believers—is fundamental for true faith. Loving and supporting them is equivalent to loving Allah Almighty Himself, while hatred toward them equates to hatred of Allah. This emphasizes the spiritual bond and unity within the Muslim community.
Believers Gain Honor by Staying Connected to Their Community
A Muslim will always attain respect and success by living and associating with their own faithful community. Separating from one’s people to join or imitate the disbelievers leads to shame and disgrace. Like a branch that flourishes only when connected to its root, a believer’s strength and vitality depend on remaining connected to Allah, His Messenger, and the faithful.
