    Transliteration:( Fa akhazat humus saihatu bilhaqqi faja'alnaahum ghusaaa'aa; fabu'dal lilqaw miz zaalimeen )

    41. Then a true uproar [64] overtook them and We made them like rubbish of grass. Be away from the unjust [65] (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (41) So the shriek[954] seized them in truth,[955] and We made them as [plant] stubble. Then away with the wrongdoing people. (Saheen International Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Mu’minoon – Verse 41

    "Then a true uproar [64] overtook them and We made them like rubbish of grass. Be away from the unjust [65]."

    ✅ [64] The Destructive Cry of Jibra’eel

    The scream of Hazrat Jibra’eel (عليه السلام) destroyed them. This shows that humans cannot withstand the voice of an angel, as even thunder and lightning can cause death, so the angel’s cry is far more powerful. This verse is understood to refer to the people of Thamood, the nation of Hazrat Saleh (عليه السلام), who were destroyed by this cry. In contrast, the people of Aad were destroyed by a violent storm.

    ✅ [65] Punishment Follows Prophetic Rejection

    This teaches that divine punishment only descends after the Prophet curses his people, having exhausted all efforts to guide them. No matter how rebellious a nation is, punishment is not sent until a Messenger has been sent and rejected—as Allah states: “And We were not to torment them until We have sent a Messenger” (Surah Bani Isra’il, 17:15).

    37. Lexically, the word ghutha means the rubbish which is brought by flood waters and is deposited on the banks to rot there.
