Quran Quote  :  On the day of Judgement there will be no buying and selling, nor will friendship and intercession be of any avail. - 2:254

Quran-23:96 Surah Al-muminun English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَۚ نَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ

Transliteration:( Idfa' billate hiya ahsanus saiyi'ah; nahnu a'lamu bimaa yasifoon )

96. Repel the evil with that which is the best [131], We know well what they attribute [132], (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(96) Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. (Saheen International Translation)

131. This means eradicating their polytheism through Tauheed (Oneness of Allah Almighty). their sins through piety and purity, and evil through goodness. darkness through light. objections through proofs, their cruelty through mercy and benevolence. their moral deficiencies through your lofty conduct. ignorance through knowledge, cruelty through Jihad (Holy War).

In short, there is great dimensional scope in this. verse In this word "best" hot, cold.. propagation. Jihad (striving in the path of Allah) severe punishments, etc. all these are included.

 The operation performed by the surgeon on the patient is the best form of obtaining a cure.    Thus, this verse is not abrogated but is firm and everlasting. 

132.Between you and Allah Almighty, because they try to prove partners, or children for Allah Almighty and they call you insane or pretender. Allah Almighty says "We will punish them for this”
