📖 Commentary of Verse 11 – Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:11)

"And Allah does not defer anyone when their appointed term comes. And Allah is Well Aware of what you do."

🕰️ The Appointed Time Cannot Be Delayed [34]

The “appointed term” refers to Qazā-e-Mubram — the absolute, unchangeable decree of death.

Once this fixed time arrives, it cannot be postponed or extended, not even for a moment.

“When their term arrives, they can neither delay it by a single moment, nor can they advance it.” (Surah An-Nahl 16:61)

This verse affirms the certainty and finality of death that Allah has already decided.

🧾 Difference Between Fixed and Conditional Fate

There are two types of divine decrees:

  • Qazā-e-Mubram (Irrevocable Fate): Fixed by divine will, and cannot be changed.

  • Qazā-e-Mu‘allaq (Suspended Fate): Can change based on certain conditions like du‘ā, charity, or righteous deeds.

For example:

“Allah wipes out what He wills and establishes what He wills, and with Him is the Mother of the Book.” (Surah Ar-Ra‘d 13:39)

This explains how lifespan can be extended or reduced under Qazā-e-Mu‘allaq.

🧿 Shayṭān's Request for Delay

Even Shayṭān asked for time till the Day of Judgment:

“My Lord, grant me respite until the Day they are resurrected.” (Surah Al-Ḥijr 15:36)

Allah responded:

“Indeed, you are among those who are granted respite.” (Surah Al-Ḥijr 15:37)

This proves that all verses of the Qur'an are true, even if they describe different types of divine decree.

👁️ Allah Is Fully Aware

The verse concludes with a powerful reminder:
“And Allah is Well Aware of what you do.”

Nothing is hidden from Him — your deeds, your intentions, and your regrets.
So prepare before your fixed time arrives, for when it comes, nothing can delay it.
