Transliteration:( Kuloo wa tamatta'oo qaleelan innakum mujrimoon )
"Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little. Surely, you are culprits."
The worldly enjoyment granted to disbelievers is not out of honor, but similar to the last meal of a condemned prisoner. It holds no true value and is short-lived, offered before the punishment is enforced.
The food and drink consumed by the disbelievers are considered acts of sin, as they remain in a state of disbelief while enjoying them. In contrast, a believer’s food and drink are acts of virtue as they lead to or accompany acts of piety. The believer is part of the bridal procession of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, and their feast is that of honored guests — unlike the disgraceful consumption of a thief.
