    Denial of the Day of Judgment – Commentary (Tafseer) of the Verse 83:11

    "They are those who belie the Day of Judgment."

    The Consequences of Denying the Hereafter

    This verse highlights the destruction of those who reject the Day of Judgment and continue to commit sins.

    • Complete destruction is for disbelievers who reject the Hereafter and will never be freed from eternal punishment.
    • Lesser destruction is for sinful believers—those who believe in the Day of Judgment yet still commit sins. Though they will face punishment, they will eventually be forgiven and freed.

    The key lesson is that denying accountability leads to total ruin, while sinning despite belief still brings serious consequences.
