Transliteration:( Wa fajjarnal arda 'uyoonan faltaqal maaa'u 'alaaa amrin qad qudir )
18. This means that instead of swallowing the water, the earth began to spew it. The entire earth became a fountain of water as it began to blow out water from everywhere.
19. The water from the heavens and the earth met in such a way that the water was raised above the mountains, almost reaching the clouds.
20. The water had reached the required height, as decreed by Allah Almighty.

(54:12) and We made the earth burst forth with springs,[11] and all this water converged to fulfil that which had been decreed.
11. That is, the earth so burst forth with springs at the command of Allah that it was no longer earth but presented a scene of the springs all around.
