    وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ

    Transliteration:( Wa laqad ahlaknaaa ashyaa'akum fahal min muddakir )

    51. And certainly We have destroyed [68] people like you. But, is there anyone who will mind to receive warning? (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (51) And We have already destroyed your kinds,[1590] so is there any who will remember? (Saheen International Translation)

    68. It means infidels like you. This tells us that every infidel, in being, resembles another infidel; although in their nature of infidelity there may be a big difference. Only the rejection of Salaah is like the infidel who rejects Allah Almighty.

    (54:51) We did indeed destroy many like you.[27] Is there, then, any who will heed?

    That is, ‘If you think that the world is not the Kingdom of a Wise and .lust God but the lawless empire of a blind ruler, in which man may behave and conduct himself as he likes, without any fear of accountability, history is proof and an eye-opener for you, which shows that the nations that adopted such a way of life, have been sent to their doom, one after the other.’

    (51) And We have already destroyed your kinds,[1590] so is there any who will remember?

    [1590]- i.e., those similar to you in attitude and behavior when they rejected Allāh's messengers.
