Transliteration:( Yauma ya koonun naasu kal farashil mabthooth )
At the time of the first Trumpet, on the Day of Judgement, people will be running helter-skelter in all directions, consumed by total fear. This movement will be like the scattering of moths when the light of a lamp is extinguished. The verse refers to the chaos and panic people will experience, either in their attempt to seek refuge or when they are resurrected and running towards the Field of Accountability at the second Trumpet.
This comparison highlights how the people will be disoriented and in complete turmoil, similar to moths flying aimlessly around a burning lamp. Although jinns and animals will also be resurrected, the primary focus here is on the resurrection of human beings, as they are the intended recipients of the reckoning. The term "human beings" encompasses all individuals, regardless of their size, status, or deeds—good or evil.
The resurrection and assembly of all will happen swiftly, and once it is complete, a profound silence will fall. At that moment, no one will be able to display pride or superiority, and thus, they are compared to moths in this state of humility and fear.
