Transliteration:( Qul ara'aitum in ja'alal laahu 'alaikumun nahaara sarmadan ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati man ilaahun ghairul laahi yaateekum bilailin taskunoona feehi afalaa tubsiroon )
177. In that you should have the power to stop the sun in the centre of the sky, or let the sun move above the sky.
178. From this verse emerge two points:
1. It is possible for the sun to stop, to lose its radiance, not to set, to come to an end. Statement of philosophy that motion and movement is obligatory for the sky is one of infidelity and blasphemy.
2. Day and night are blessings of Allah Almighty only when they continue to take place. If they stop, they become a source of torment.
