Transliteration:( Wa zanna annahul firaaq )
“He then will realise that it is the hour of parting.”
✅ Death – A Moment of Realisation and Separation [28]
This verse speaks about the dying person finally realizing that the time of departure has arrived. For the negligent and worldly person, death is a parting — a painful separation from family, wealth, and all worldly attachments.
However, for the intelligent and righteous believer, death is a meeting — a blessed moment of union with the Holy Prophet ﷺ and with the mercy of Allah (اللَّهُ ).
That’s why the day of passing for pious people is called ‘Urs’ (meaning wedding or union), because it's like the train of death:
➡️ separating some from the world,
➡️ and joining others with the beloved in the Hereafter.
