Transliteration:( Bi-anna rabbaka awhaa laha )
The testimony of the earth against the infidels will not be out of enmity, for the earth, like a mother, is the origin of mankind. Just as a mother cannot be the enemy of her children, the earth will not testify out of malice. Nor will it testify out of impurity of the soul, as the earth is pure from all sensual impurities. Instead, this testimony will occur purely through Divine Command, making it totally true and accurate.
Just as the earth has the capacity to absorb water and other substances, it also has the ability to capture our words and deeds. Today, the earth is absorbing everything, and on the Day of Judgement, it will narrate everything. This process is similar to how sound is recorded: sound is first absorbed by a machine and later released when the play button is pressed. Similarly, the earth absorbs and preserves all actions and will reveal them when commanded by Allah.
The earth has the ability to absorb both auspiciousness and wretchedness. This is why the places of pious servants become blessed, while the places of reprobates become inauspicious. For example, the Holy Prophet ﷺ forbade his followers from stopping at the territory of the Thamud, as it was a place of divine punishment. In contrast, the grounds of the two Haram (Makkah and Madinah) will remain blessed until the Day of Judgement.
Modern science has proven that every sound from the beginning of time has been captured in the air. Efforts are being made to retrieve and listen to the sounds and voices of previous generations. If the earth can preserve our deeds, conversations, auspiciousness, and ill fortunes, then its ability to narrate them on the Day of Judgement should not cause any astonishment. This is a testament to Allah's infinite power and wisdom.
