Transliteration:( Yawma taatee kullu nafsin tujaadilu 'an nafsihaa wa tuwaffaa kullu nafsim maa 'amilat wa hum laa yuzlamoon )
111. The day when every soul will come disputing towards itself; and every soul shall be paid for what it did and they shall not be wronged [248].
[248] Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that on the Day of Judgment there will be a confrontation between the body and the soul of the disbeliever. The body will claim, “I am innocent. It is the soul that entered me and caused me to commit evil deeds.” The soul will respond, “I was crippled and powerless; it is you who committed sins with your own hands.”
At this moment, Allah Almighty will present an example: if a crippled person climbs onto the shoulders of a blind person and steals, both would be guilty of the crime — the body is blind, the soul is crippled. Hence, both are accountable and will enter Hell. This verse refers to this analogy (Tafseer Khazainul Irfaan).
