Transliteration:( Wa yaj'aloona lillaahi maa yakrahoona wa tasifu alsinatuhumul kaziba anna lahumul husnaa laa jarama anna lahumun Naara wa annahum mufratoon )
127. This means they do not desire daughters and partners for themselves, yet they accept these for Allah Almighty (Allah forbid!)
128. Reason for its revelation:Â
The infidels were saying that if the Holy Prophet ? was a true Prophet and if the Day of Judgement is really going to take place, we would still be given Paradise. "And even if I be returned to my Lord, for me there is good with Him" (S41:V50). The above verse was revealed to refute this nonsensical talk of these infidels. They were certainly not convinced about the Day of Judgement. This means their deeds are hellish, but they are hoping for Paradise. How can you hope to reap wheat when you sow barley?Â
129. This means their eternal stay in Hell. Hence the calculating opinion expressed in the verse is correct.
