✅ [172] Birds Suspended in the Sky – A Divine Sign

It is against natural expectation for birds—heavy creatures—to remain suspended mid-air. Logically, they should fall to the ground due to gravity, as heavy things are drawn downwards. Yet, Allah keeps them in flight, showcasing His power and control over physical laws.

According to Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), there exist creatures that:

  • Live entirely in the air

  • Lay eggs there

  • Are born and die there,
just as fish do the same in water.

Among such miraculous flying creatures were the swallows sent by Allah upon Abraha and his army (the people of the elephant), which destroyed them as a divine punishment.

This verse is a clear sign for the believers, reminding them of Allah’s might and creative control even over what seems impossible to human logic.
