Quran-4:139 Surah An-nisa English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۚ أَيَبۡتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعٗا

Transliteration:( Allazeena yattakhizoo nal kaafireena awliyaaa'a min doonil mu'mineen; a-yabta ghoona 'indahumul 'izzata fainnnal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa )

139.Those who take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek power from them? Indeed, all power belongs to Allah. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(139) Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allāh entirely.[225] (Saheen International Translation)

411.From this we fearn that love and friendship with non-believers is a sign of hypocrites, especially when this is done as an opposition to Muslims.

412. From this we learn that a religious traitor will neither find respect from his own people nor from the opposition (other people, races etc.). Respect can only be obtained by being

steadfast in your Religion.

Likewise, the learned scholar who accepts compromise will not find honour and respect. Honour and respect belong to Allah Almighty and through His Grace to His Messenger and through the blessing of the Prophet ?.

169. The term ‘jzzah denotes a position which is at once exalted and secure. In other words, the term signifies ‘inviolable honour and glory’.

[225]- Being the source of all power and honor, Allāh grants them to whom He wills.
