Quran-4:45 Surah An-nisa English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِأَعۡدَآئِكُمۡۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ نَصِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Wallaahu a'lamu bi a'daaa'i-kum; wa kafaa billaahi waliyyanw wa kafaa billaahi naseera )

45. And Allah knows well your enemies [167]. And Allah is sufficient as a Guardian, and Allah is sufficient as a Helper [168]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(45) And Allāh is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allāh as an ally, and sufficient is Allāh as a helper. (Saheen International Translation)

Surah An-Nisa Ayat 45 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Tafseer-e-Naeemi (Ahmad Yaar Khan)
  • Ibn Kathir
  • Ala-Madudi
  • Shaheen International

167. Hence, when Allah Almighty had declared someone to be your enemy, he should be rejected as your enemy, even though outwardly they may be your friend, child, or wife.
Says Allah Almighty: "Your wives and children are your enemies, so beware of them."
(S64:V14).
From this we learn that if an irreligious person happens to be your close relative but he is an enemy of the believer, he   is your enemy, but if an unknown person is a believer he is a friend of the believer.
168. By this is meant He is your protection from your enemy's plan. By this meant with the Grace of Allah Almighty the noble Companions of the Holy Prophet were protected from misguidance. In fact, if the Companions cast their eyes on any person such a person would be protected from misguidance.
