Quran-4:85 Surah An-nisa English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Mai yashfa' shafaa'atan hasanatay yakul lahoo naseebum minhaa wa mai yashfa' shafaa'atan saiyi'atany-yakul lahoo kiflum minhaa; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'im Muqeetaa )

85. Whosoever makes a good intercession, there is a share [270] in it for him, and whosoever makes an evil intercession, there is a share [271] in it for him. And Allah has power over everything. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(85) Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a share [i.e., reward] therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a portion [i.e., burden] therefrom. And ever is Allāh, over all things, a Keeper.[205] (Saheen International Translation)

Surah An-Nisa Ayat 85 Tafsir (Commentry)

270. From this, we learn that to make a good intercession is an act for which you will be rewarded, while making a bad intercession is a sinful act. To intercede on some one's behalf for the purpose of saving him from a difficulty is a rewardable act, while interceding on behalf of a tyrant to get him out of any difficulty or purpose of aiding in tyranny is totally unlawful.
271. This teaches us that it is not only forbidden to commit a sin, but to create in a person a desire for sin or to advise him towards sinful acts is also unlawful. The same is the case with virtue.

Ibn-Kathir

The tafsir of Surah Nisa verse 85 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Nisa ayat 84 which provides the complete commentary from verse 84 through 87.

(4:85) He who intercedes in a good cause shall share in its good result, and he who intercedes in an evil cause shall share in its burden.[113] Allah watches over everything.

Ala-Maududi

(4:85) He who intercedes in a good cause shall share in its good result, and he who intercedes in an evil cause shall share in its burden.[113] Allah watches over everything.

113. It is all a matter of choice and luck. One has the opportunity to struggle for the cause of God, and to urge others to strive for it in order to raise the banner of the Truth and be rewarded by God for so doing. Likewise, one also has the opportunity to expend one’s energy trying to create misunderstanding among God’s creatures and to demoralize people in their struggle for His cause thus incurring His chastisement.

(85) Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a share [i.e., reward] therefrom; and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a portion [i.e., burden] therefrom. And ever is Allāh, over all things, a Keeper.[205]
