Transliteration:( Iz talaqqawnahoo bi alsinatikum wa taqooloona bi afwaahikum maa laisa lakum bihee 'ilmunw wa tahsaboo nahoo haiyinanw wa huwa 'indal laahi 'azeem )

15. When you brought such talk on your tongues hearing from one another, and uttered with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge [30] and thought it light, while it was great [31] in the sight of Allah. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(15) When you received it with your tongues[980] and said with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge and thought it was insignificant while it was, in the sight of Allāh, tremendous. (Saheen International Translation)

Surah An-Nur Ayat 15 Tafsir (Commentry)

30. In that neither did you see any evil, nor heard it from the one who had seen it. What has been said was said out of mere suspicion.

31. From this we learn that sin and error had been committed by some Companions but they never remained with it. Thus this is true that every Companion is just, and everyone has said that about them: "And Allah has promised good to all" (S4 V95).
Allah Almighty further says: "Allah is pleased with them and they with Allah” (S58:22). It is obvious that Allah Almighty will not be pleased with the transgressors, nor does He make a promise of Paradise for them. Furthermore, the chastity of Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah (May Allah be pleased with her) is not something hidden but it is proven by concrete testimony. This was such a clear testimony, that those who were doubting it were censured, like Hazrat Hassan, etc.
