Quran-13:32 Surah Ar-rad English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

Transliteration:( Wa laqadis tuhzi'a bi Rusulim min qablika fa amlaitu lillazeena kafaroo summa akhaztuhum fakaifa kaana 'iqaab )

32. And surely, the messengers before you were mocked at. Then I gave respite to the disbelievers for a time, then I seized them [90]. Then how was My punishment? (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(32) And already were [other] messengers ridiculed before you, and I extended the time of those who disbelieved; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty. (Saheen International Translation)

90. This tells us that to adopt a relaxed attitude at sins is a form of severe punishment. This includes obtaining many bounties in spite of the sins, as these bounties are poison in the May Allah Almighty form of sweetmeats. protect us from this
