Transliteration:( Yursalu 'alaikumaa shuwaazum min naarinw-wa nuhaasun falaa tantasiraan )
31. This means that type of fire whose every part is made to burn and such type of smoke in which there is no sign of light. It means the fire would be totally free of smoke and the smoke would be cleansed of it. May Allah Almighty protect us!(Tafseer Khazain). Information about it is given today so that you can do good deeds to save yourself tomorrow from it.
32 The oppressed will not have the power to take revenge on the oppressor in Hell. Or, that they will not be able to help one another.

(55:35) (If you so venture) a flame of fire and smoke[33] shall be lashed at you, which you shall be unable to withstand.
33. The word shuwaz, as used in the original, means the pure, smokeless flame, and nuhas is the gross smoke without a flame. These two things, one after the other, will be let loose upon the men and jinn, when they try to escape the accountability of Allah.
