    Transliteration:( Man kafara fa'alaihi kufruhoo wa man 'amila saalihan fali anfusihim yamhadoon )

    44. Whoso commits infidelity [98], the burden of his infidelity is on him, and those who do good they are preparing it for themselves [99]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (44) Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing, (Saheen International Translation)

    98. It means that due to his infidelity others would not be held guilty. Only, he himself would be caught. From this we learn that the minor children of the infidels would not be sent into Hell due to the infidelity of their parents.

    99. This tells us that the pious believer will certainly be rewarded for his piety. Even if he conveys its rewards to others he will not be deprived of it.

    Ala-Maududi

    (30:44) He who disbelieves will suffer the consequence of it[67] and he who acts righteously, they will pave the way for their own good

    67. This is a comprehensive sentence which encompasses all those harms which can afflict a disbeliever on account of his disbelief. No list of the harms could be so comprehensive as this.
