Transliteration:( Wa baaraknaa 'alaihi wa 'alaaa Ishaaq; wa min zurriyya tihimaa muhsinunw wa zaalimul linafsihee mubeen (section 3) )
"And We blessed him and Ishaaq [117]. And among their next generations, some are righteous [118] and some clearly wrong themselves [119]."
Allah granted immense blessings to Hazrat Ebrahim and his son Hazrat Ishaaq (peace be upon them), honouring them with prophethood, righteous offspring, and lasting remembrance in this world and the hereafter.
Among their descendants were many noble prophets and saints, who upheld the truth and served the cause of Allah’s deen with sincerity and devotion.
However, not all of their progeny remained on the path of righteousness. Some clearly wronged themselves, turning away from guidance, thereby violating the legacy of their forefathers.
This verse reflects that lineage alone is not sufficient—true nobility lies in faith and righteous action.
